How do I Add/Edit/Delete Colors in Pixopa?

Color details can be accessed by selecting Manage Colors option in Web to Print Menu.

The Color Manager page opens with colors’ details under following headings:

  • Id

  • Color Name

  • Hex Value

  • Display in Frontend

  • Action

To Add Color

To add new color, click on Add New Color button on the top right corner of the page. This will open Add Color Page, with following fields:

  • Name: Enter the name of color to be added.

  • Hex Value: Enter Hex Value of color.

  • Display in Frontend: If you select ‘Yes’, color will be shown in frontend with template. Selecting ‘No’, will hide color in frontend.

To Edit Color

To edit a color, click on Edit link in color’s row, under Action column (alternatively, you may click anywhere in color’s row). This will open Edit Color page. Edit any field (Name, Hex Value, Display in Frontend) as required. You can see five buttons at the top right of the page:

  • Back: Clicking on this button will take you back to the Color Manager Page. All the unsaved changes will be lost.

  • Reset: Clicking this button will reset the template to last saved version. You will remain on the same page and all the unsaved changes will be lost.

  • Delete Color: Clicking on this button will delete the color from system.

  • Save Color: This button saves the changes made to color details, and takes you to Color Manager page.

  • Save and Continue Edit : Clicking on this button saves the changes and you remain on the same

To Delete Color

There are two methods of deleting a color:

  • Method I

    • In Color Manager page, click on checkbox in first column of the color’s row.

    • Open the Actions Dropdown in the Heading of this table (the row even above column headings).

    • Select the Delete option.

    • Click on Submit. A message asking ‘Are you sure you want to do this?’ will be displayed. Click on OK and the color will be deleted.

  • Method II

    • In Color Manager page, click on the Color’s row. This will open Edit Color page.

    • Click on the ‘Delete Color’ button on the top right corner of page. A message asking ‘Are you sure you want to do this?’ will be displayed. Click on OK and the color will be deleted.
